As one of its many student-centric approaches, Jhargram Raj College has always involved its student population in social welfare activities and has encouraged its students to be aware of all the issues that are plaguing our society today. The National Service Scheme, set up by the Government of India in 1969, is best suited as a regulated programme to involve the youth of the college in meaningful activities that would notonly benefit members of the larger society, but would boost the holistic growth of these student-volunteers as individuals, and help them to forge their ways ahead in their choice of life.
